This was taken with an old Canon Ixus on my usual morning run up to the moors before starting work. It’s a fantastic way to start the day and even more so this morning when there was fresh snow on the ground and not a soul about.

I don’t know how many times I’ve ran past these two trees but they make me smile every single time. I think they look like parent and child, standing there together, quite happily watching the animals and weather going by. It always puts a lump in my throat.
