Walking in a beautiful snow dusted land above Kettlewell in the Yorkshire Dales yesterday. This is Great Whernside (not to be confused with ‘the’ Whernside – one of the Yorkshire ‘Three Peaks’). In the valley below, the River Wharfe appeared to have been extremely high not so long ago with the tell-tale signs of debris everywhere.
