Well… The scans of nine rolls of Kodak Portra are back from AG Photolab and they are absolutely out of this world. Truly.
Despite trying to make sure that the bellows on the Makina weren’t suffering from light leaks before we left (another quick check and application of yet more silicone sealant), unfortunately, a few of my shots taken with this beautiful camera in bright light have some artefacts (usually bottom left corner [landscape orientation]). But I don’t really mind too much.
I’m still chuffed to bits with the scans. They are gorgeous. The Makina is currently in for repair. All is good in the world.
This is how we spent a significant part of our week back in our beautiful Northumberland.
More lovely photos to come… And I have to say – I’m pretty damn chuffed with with all of them :-)
