photoshoot

One of my friends is in a band and recently they went to a studio in Bradford to record their first album. I went along for a couple of hours to take some photos on digital and film. With the OM-2n and OM-1 in for repair (short story – sticky hot chocolate doesn’t play nicely with mechanical cameras), I took my FM2n to get some nice 35mm gritty, high contrast black and white shots (but had to use up the remainder of some Portra 400 first), the Makina 670 to try and get some smoother, larger framed and more subtle black and white shots (and colour too, depending on light conditions), and my trusty digital D90. I had a great time and it was a privilege to be there with the band and studio tech folks. I’ve got a few photos to get through – as usual I’m on a bit of a backlog – but coming soon will be some photos of my time with Into the Silence.
