The end of my first roll of film through the Bessa R was an interesting afair. Dial read 36. I took the shot. I wound on (cos you never know – there might be more film left!). No tightness or resistance. I took another shot, as I wasn’t sure I had focussed properly previously. I tried winding on again. Still no resistance. I took the same shot a third time as by now I thought something might wrong and I figured I’d see what would happen. After this I thought that the transport was broken so I rewound the film. I’m pretty sure I could’ve stood there winding on (but not actually!) and shooting over the same frame time and time again 😄 So pretty strange. Is it normal for this camera? I have no idea.
Any Bessa R owners out there experienced the same thing?
Great little camera though. And the little Jupiter 8 lens is just lovely.
