We’re just home from an amazing two weeks in the US. Franconia (New Hampshire), Rowley (Massachusetts) and Boston City were our base destinations. We drove close to nine hundred miles in nine days, clocked up many, many steps walking and exploring mountain trails, beaches and the beautiful city of Boston. We had an absolutely fantastic time. I took three cameras – my beloved medium format Plaubel Makina 670, 35mm Nikon FM2n (with 50mm & 135mm lenses), and my superb little digital Panasonic LX100. I shot nine rolls of medium format film, ten rolls of 35mm film, and took many digital shots on the LX100 and of course on my Pixel phone. Trust me – I have a lot of photographs! Going through them will take time. I’m not going to blog all the good ones – just a selection of my favourites good ones :-) I’m sure the chronology won’t be quite correct but hopefully you’ll be able to see some of the things that we got up to and hopefully get a feel for just how lovely a place New England is.
