7/10

These last few shots are my first attempt at developing and scanning 120 film. I find it an order of magnitude harder to load it onto the developing tank reel compared to 35mm film. So much so in fact that it took me three hours (and three hours the previous night practising with a ‘sacrificed’ roll). Despite all that furtling around in the dark bag with sweaty hands, rolling, unrolling, re-coiling, fingers all over the film, pleading and willing the film to load, I managed to ratchet seven out of ten exposures onto the reel before giving up and cutting my losses. The right hand side of this negative was where I cut it at about 10pm before heading downstairs to do the developing. Considering the amount of abuse the film received in the dark bag, the results are quite remarkable!
