phone raw

I use Adobe Lightroom for my photography workflow. I don’t re-touch images much, if at all. Lightroom is perfect for what I need. I use the Cloud version or ‘Lightroom CC’ – not classic CC – so everything on the adobe cloud is available on any device with the Lightroom software installed on it. This is great for lots of reasons. One of which is that I can take a photo using the Lightroom app on my phone, it captures in DNG format to get all the data from the sensor in the phone’s camera, then by the time it has synchronised to the cloud, it’s ready for viewing/editing in the evening. As you can see, the amount of detail retained in the raw file from the Google Pixel 3’s camera sensor is pretty amazing.
