sloppy technique

It’s dead simple to use a pinhole camera. Keep it still. Open the pinhole by sliding a little door to begin the exposure. Close the door to stop the exposure. Long exposures smooth out motion. Anything moving gets turned into a blur. This exposure was a couple of seconds which is long enough to smooth out some motion, but not long enough to smooth out the sausage fingers coming in from the side to close the pinhole. Note to self – no matter how long the exposure, use a card or something to cover the pinhole first before opening or closing the pinhole.
