Still catching up on a photo back log…

This is taken at Budle Bay in Northumberland. We were up there a couple of months ago and had a wonderful, relaxing long weekend. A fantastic solar halo appeared as the sun started to set. We don’t see these very often, at least not where we live in the UK. Maybe that’s because it’s normally cloudy… :-| Strangely, we saw a splendid one in New York City in May earlier this year. That one was fully visible at 360 degrees around the sun at midday. Two in about six months…not sure when the next one will be…
