It took me ages to get this right (and the polarising filter I used has caused the sky to transition from light to dark – that’s what happens when the sun isn’t 90 degrees perpendicular to the direction in which you’re shooting and you forget to take the filter off!!). Exposure, white balance and colour were all completely off the scale here too. Despite being in a padded bag and also wrapped in bubble-wrap, maybe my camera was still recovering from me landing on it an hour earlier! ;-) For those of you that are photographers, you’ll know that taking a photograph in the snow and getting it to look ‘right’ isn’t as easy as you might think. My friend the curves tool helped me rectify this but not immediately. It took a while.
