Mr M and I had a days walking in thick cloud, mist, rain, wind and visibility of about 25m. Gorgeous… Spectacular views and vistas were out there somewhere but not for us to see. We’ll see them another day, though. This us on our way down back to Honister Slate Mine to dry off and head home. Man, we were pretty wet…and our pride had taken a bit of a dent too due to navigation being challenging. At least we had a map, compass and proper gear which was more than could be said for several people that we saw (and helped) on this particular day…
