A month or so before our holiday to Normandy I bought the Nikkor 135mm f2.8 AI lens on eBay for a bargain and to use on my FM2n to complement the little 50mm. Both lenses can be used on my D90 (fully manual, no metering – both absolutely fine), but the 135mm is unbelievably sharp. I mean insanely sharp. I read this in various reviews of the lens before I bought it, but for a portrait lens for use with the 35mm Nikon SLR system, it is perfect. And it gives great results every time.
There were Hydrangeas all over the garden of our gite. A bit of late evening sun and a little over exposure on some Fuji Superia Xtra 400 and they sing with colour.
