shadows and hills

by matt

On a lovely sunny day, there are few finer places to be than walking in these parts. The Lake District has so much to offer and there are many gems out there to be explored. I had a real sense of feeling incredibly small when I took this. In reality, this is tiny compared to other areas in the world where the mountains stretch many, many times the height we were at here, and cover hundreds of miles. And these aren’t small hills… I think the water you can see in the distance is the Irish Sea and the land behind it is possibly the area around Dundrenan or Auchencairn – basically the land that juts out the south west tip of Scotland with Stranraer on the edge.
