Here’s a great example of how tolerant black and white film is. The first shot below is Kodak Tri-X 400 under exposed by one stop (ASA 800) and over developed by two stops (ASA 1600).
The second image (below) is Kodak Tri-X 400 over exposed by one stop (ASA 200) and over developed by two stops (ASA 1600).
Quite nice to do little comparisons now and again.
