first steps with Velvia

I ventured out into some local woods a few weeks ago with the Makina 670 loaded with some Fuji Velvia 100 film. I’ve shot with colour reversal (aka ‘slide’) film before using it’s cousin – Provia 100F, and like Provia – the results from Velvia are absolutely out of this world – probably more so, in my opinion. Slightly less intense blues and greens but more saturation. So with my tripod, one camera and one roll of film giving me ten photos, I had an amazing start to a Friday morning in a quiet and peaceful wood flooded with bluebells. Serene.
