Unlike it’s good friend Portra 400, Portra 160 is a lot less tolerant of over exposure. This is quite a good example. Metering for the light on the flag meant that the difference between the correct exposure there and what would be needed for the sky was too much for Portra 160 to handle. This resulted in the lovely blue sky losing colour and detail and blowing out. Never mind :-)
