Being an HC-110 guy since film developing day one, when my bottle came to an end I cracked open some Rodinal and gave it a go. One word – wow. Rodinal is generally known for it’s sharpness (acutance) and while it seems great with my normal goto films like HP5 in 120 format, it produces very grainy results with some films in 35mm. I’m not a grain addict, but I do like a healthy amount in my 35mm shots. Anyway, in 120 format such as here, it produces quite astonishing results. Orange filter for extra contrast.
