smooth moves

Styling it up on the prom at Brighton, these were some truly fantastic, fluid roller moves. I’m trying to get better at zone focussing so I can simply shoot stuff quickly ‘street photography’ style with the M2. It’s a camera built for that purpose. The more I do it and the more I see the results with the beautiful organic nature of black and white film, the more I really like this type of photography. It’s quite addictive actually and I feel myself gravitating towards it more and more. It’s a world away from carefully framing up a 6×6 shot with the Bronica but the imperfections are its strength. Those real life moments that pass in the blink of an eye are captured on analogue with all the character and punch that you get from film.
