This is more of a test post than anything else, really. I’ve been using rawtherapee for my raw processing for ages but have recently been experimenting with KDE’s digikam. In short, it’s packed with more features and offers a broader range of opportunities (IMO) for photo processing. It’s also a quite a bit more complicated to use, but I’m a techie – I like that. This is nothing more than a sepia filter run across one of my recent shots with a little bit of highlight reconstruction. The sky was badly blown out in the original and while not recovered, it’s a marked improvement over what it was. Like I said, experimenting… No art gallery here..
