sunset over Loch Mealt
by matt
This is pretty much opposite the Kilt Rock viewpoint on the Isle of Skye. Kilt Rock is a gorgeous place (future photos to come) but across the road from it lies the very small, very pretty Loch Mealt. The Trotternish Ridge is in the background in this shot and the sun has just dipped behind the horizon as sunset approaches. There are lots of ‘telegraph-like’ poles on Skye, presumably carrying more than just telephone lines. You can see several of them in quite a small area here. I thought it added to the character of the reflection quite nicely.
