This is the 100m tartan patterned, basalt cliff of Kilt Rock on the Isle of Skye taken about 20 minutes before the official sunset time of around 2230. The Mealt waterfall (from Loch Mealt – see previous posts) plunges over this and into the sea below. The sky was turning a fantastic shade of pink. We had to hang around and watch. This photo is the result.
