This is shot just below Coire Lagan which is a very small loch in the heart of the Cuillin Hills on the Isle of Skye. We walked up here from Glenbrittle Beach. The view looking out to Loch Brittle and Rubha Dunain was absolutely lovely.

About 180 degrees from where this was shot, and about 200m up, lies a giant projecting block of rock called the Cioch. This was the scene of a sword fight in the film Highlander. Very black clouds hung around inside the Cuillin on this day with mist gradually seeping out and evaporating. Very atmospheric place. Very imposing.
