Pointe du Hoc

We’re recently back from another wonderful holiday to Normandy.
This is the beach to the East of Pointe du Hoc. On D-Day, the US Army Ranger Assault Group scaled the cliffs to overpower and capture heavily fortified German artillery posts. Can’t. Imagine.
