a brief hiatus

Dedication. I love my analogue photography. From winding on and cocking the shutter to washing chemicals off my hands as I process the negatives, the end to end process is a tactile and extremely pleasurable experience. Then there’s the printing in my darkroomgarage which takes it to a whole new level, although I admit it takes little bit more motivation to print in the Winter months (fingerless gloves help). The craft is the enjoyment, and if there’s a meaningful photo at the end of it then it’s just magic. It takes time, and time it deserves, but there’s often not enough of it.
