We were up there a couple of months ago and had a wonderful, relaxing long weekend. A fantastic solar halo appeared as the sun started to set. We don&#8217;t see these very often, at least not where we live in the UK. Maybe that&#8217;s because it&#8217;s normally cloudy&#8230; :-|\u00a0Strangely, we saw a splendid one in New York City in May earlier this year. That one was fully visible at 360 degrees around the sun at midday.
